Graze Box Review

E is a fussy eater, when it comes to snacks she loves to eat fruit, which is great but she also likes chocolate and biscuits. I have been thinking of other snack ideas to give her but I haven’t succeeded with much variety. So when Graze offered me a free box to review I saw this as a great opportunity to get E to try something new. I had heard a lot about graze and I had considered trying them in the past but I didn’t really look into it. On the Graze website there are different categories to choose from, a standard graze box, a breakfast one and a fairly new addition is the Kids box. On the website they advertise it as ‘The Graze Goody Box, Tasty Treats for Kids with no nasties.’ This seemed like a perfect opportunity to get E to try some different things. When you… View Post

The fun of having Grandma come to stay

When I was growing up I used to love seeing my Grandparents, I look back now and I have lots of fond memories of all the fun we had. She then wanted to put her shoes on so that she could run outside to say hello, on this occasion wellies were the nearest thing she could get her hands on. The sight of a three-year old wearing a lovely girly… View Post

The benefits of taking children to the Library

I am a big fan of reading and we have a lot of books in the house, I put this down to the fact that I was bought up surrounding books. I like that a book makes you use your imagination and is a form of escapism. From the moment E was born I wanted her to also enjoy books the way i do. From a young age E has had books around her, from the soft crinkly type books to board books for her to be able to use and now we have progressed onto some paperback books. I think she still prefers board books as they are more robust for her. E loves to have stories read to her and will quite often bring books to me during the day to read. She also enjoys looking through them and some of the books she will read to me, only because she… View Post
