What2buy4kids Candy Warmheart Rag Doll Review

Last week we were sent a mystery parcel from what2buy4kids. This fantastic website sells gifts for children of all ages, they have a great search facility where they suggest toys based on age and gender with a wide range of budgets. It is a great website if you are looking for something different or if you are just stuck for ideas on what to buy a child. When we opened the parcel we were pleased to see that we had been sent a rag doll called Candy, much to E’s delight. However this isn’t any ordinary rag doll, it is a heatable one. Candy is a very cute doll with pigtail’s and a pretty dress and she is approximately 40 cm when standing. Candy is a safe alternative to a hot water bottle and is lavender-scented, as the doll is a heatable it contains millet seeds and dried lavender which makes the doll feel quite heavy.… View Post

A fun afternoon at Trago Mills Newton Abbot

E is one of the many children that tend to get bored in shops, if we are shopping for her then that’s a different matter. This afternoon we took a trip to Trago Mills in Newton Abbot. Trago claims to be ‘the most family-friendly shopping site in the UK‘! In my eyes no shop is Emily friendly. We have visited Trago Mills on numerous occasions over the years to pick up things we need, the thing about Trago Mills is that is sells everything you can imagine, from car accessories to paint, bathrooms, bedding to toys, clothes, garden related items. It really does seem to sell a bit of everything. This is great but we plan to get one thing and normally ending buying other things. Today M (my husband) wanted to go as we needed a few things for the garden that we are trying to tidy and make it look… View Post

An Impromtue trip to the sea side

We are very fortunate to live in a sea-side town with the beach a mere ten minuets away, on Saturday afternoon just gone the sun started to shine, there had been a rain shower in the morning. But as the sun was now shining we decided to take a trip to the sea front. Every year Dawlish, which is across the water from Exmouth has an air day display and if you sit on the sea front or beach in Exmouth you get to see some of the planes fly over. This was the first time we decided to go. We explained to E where we were going and she was instantly telling both mummy and daddy to hurry up as we don’t want to miss the planes, such a bossy three-year old! We headed down to the sea front and attempted to park, with it being Air Day and also a Saturday on… View Post

Family lives far, far away!

My Family live too far away. There should be a law that states all mothers, fathers, brothers and sisters should live within 45 minutes of each other. The law should only be waivered in extreme circumstances, like if the family involved can’t stand each other and would rather live on opposite sides of the universe than a relatively short car journey away. I am not one of those people, I love my family – like them even. I bickered with my brother when we were younger, as we grew older I have always looked up to him, I am really proud to say he is my brother.. I laugh at my mother and father, who are also (they’d hate me saying this) my inspiration and – as an adult – people who I love to spend time with. I also love my in-laws and have gained some very caring people through marriage.… View Post
