Skin Cancer Awareness

Recently, I have to admit I have been very silly. I have had a lump, bite size on the side of my body for several months now. I can’t even remember when I first noticed it, but when I did I assumed it was a bite. Several months down the line and the lump is still there, it’s a pink colour and you can sort of move it. You would think after goodness knows how many months I wouldn’t worry about it; well this weekend I started to worry about it so I decided to resort to Dr Google. All the information and photos pointed to a mild form of skin cancer. How can any cancer be mild? I was straight onto the phone to the doctor on Monday morning. Why Family Photos Matter

Recently a friend of mine lost her mother. Since then I have seen some beautiful photos of her and her mum on Facebook. This has made me think how important family photo’s are. Looking at old photo’s trigger memories that I had forgotten and they always put a smile on my face. A fairly old photo of me and my mum with my dad in the background. My mum thinks I was fourteen when it… View Post

After a long chat E decided that she wanted to make a new years resolution and after some influence she has decided she is going to try new food this year. E is a fairly fussy eater, not as bad as some but she knows what she likes and enjoys and is frequently reluctant to try new foods. Things have improved since she started school and has had school dinners, she tried more food items… View Post

Vote for me in the #TRIBALCHAT AWARDS Please

I have been blogging for a couple of years now, I wouldn’t call myself a full on blogger because I normally only blog  when I have something to say. Last year I blogged a lot more and I have really enjoyed everything that comes with it. There are some really big blogging awards around, as there are some amazing bloggers to go with it and many of them deserve to win. This January I am nominated for the #Tribalchat blog awards, how very exciting. So here I am writing a shameless post asking for my lovely readers to vote for me. There are quite a few categories to vote for but you can only vote for me… View Post
