Photo Friday 27th January 2017

Welcome to another Photo Friday. I have finally got round to writing one this week, is it me or does time just fly by? It has been an average week, we haven’t done anything amazing. I have however remembered to take some photos of the everyday things we have been getting up to. Last weekend was quite a busy one for E. On Saturday she had swimming in the morning and then she wanted to go to Exeter with me. We had great fun, E has reached the age when its jut the two of us she is great company. It was a bitterly cold day, as every day seems to be lately. She had been super patient whist I had some shopping to do. It got to lunch time, little Miss has told me that she was feeling hungry. We normally go to the cafĂ© in Wilko’s, she likes… View Post

Photo Friday 6th January 2016

I started occasionally writing Photo Friday posts last year and I plan to do the same this year. It has been a rocky start to the new year with a member of my family being in hospital, spending days sat in a hospital is physically and mentally draining for all concerned. Since I returned home we have managed to get the tree down and attempted to get some sort of normality in the house, despite it looking like a playground. I haven’t taken many photos this week because of everything that has been going on, however I am going to share with you a few photos that I have. The night before E went back to school we decided to eat out, there really wasn’t much food in the house so we opted to go for a carvery which everyone enjoyed. E was given a colouring sheet and crayons but… View Post

Photo Friday 4th November 2016

Despite the house being full of germs, bugs, sickness and far too much coughing there has still been a few good moments, some ahh how cute moments and some funny moments. I have taken a few photos on my phone this week, hence why they are not the best quality however I thought I would share with you a few photos. The week started with Halloween, E is wearing a fab pumpkin costume that we were sent. For a few years she had said she wanted to be a pumpkin but all I could find were the big round pumpkin outfits for toddlers, so when this turned up she was thrilled to say the least. We don’t have many Halloween decorations, much to E’s disappointment but here she is getting ready to put up some ghost lights. This photo sums up what J has been up to, he has learnt… View Post

Photo Friday – A week of fun!

Its been a while since I wrote a Photo Friday post, I have just been so busy with J that time just seems to disappear. After all I have no idea where the last six months has gone. I have taken loads of photos since J has been born but today I am just going to share some from this week. The sun has been out which has been wonderful as I was able to take J outside on a play mat, normally when he has been outside I have been carrying him or had him on my knee as its hasn’t been overly warm. He was giggling away so much, taking in all the different sites that he hasn’t seen. J has such an infectious laugh that he makes me giggle with him. Having a look around on his tummy. He kept wanting to roll, next time the sun… View Post

Photo Friday – Our Trip To Derby

The second week of the school holidays and the first week of M’s summer leave we set of for the week to go and visit family in Derby. We have been so busy since we got back that I have only really just had chance to sort through some photos. We had a nice few days away, unfortunately the weather was mostly wet and miserable. The main reason we went to visit was to meet our lovely new nephew Joey, we hadn’t had chance to until then due to M working away for several weeks. He really is such a cutie, like most newborn babies he did a lot of sleeping and feeding. E was fascinated by him and it made it talk about her being a big sister soon even more so. E was excited about meeting her new cousin Joey but was even more excited about seeing her… View Post
