It seems like this last week has been quite a busy week, not all of it has been exciting but nether the less it has been busy. Last weekend we were out and about sorting things ready for turning the ‘spare room’ into E’s new bedroom so as to make space for the new arrival. This week has also been the first week of the school holidays for E, we have survived it so far but I have missed having some time to myself, I have to get used to that again anyway… The start of the week was E’s preschool leavers party at our local soft play centre, it was manic to say the least, around 60 children, parents and the keyworkers equates to a lot of noise and mayhem. E had a great time with all her friends, they put on some party food which she thought was… View Post
I wanted to do a lovely photo Friday today with lots of nice photos but I then realised most of the photos I took this last week were taken at families day which I blogged about yesterday, so take a look at that post for more photos. This morning I got my camera out with the intention of taking lots of fun photos of E but she wasn’t having any of it, so I will share with you this one photo which I quite like that I managed to take. No cheesy grin and not looking too miserable either! She does so much better in photos when I catch her naturally when playing. Hope you all have a lovely weekend.
Its been a lovely week, we have had glorious sunshine which has meant that we have spent a lot of time outdoors. E is so much easier to entertain when the sun shines and she doesn’t get bored as easily. The start of our week – well starting from last Saturday we went to a 4th birthday party, E’s best friend Isobel turned four and luckily the sun was shining so there was a lovely little birthday party in the garden. E loves party food, not that she ever really eats much of it except for at her own birthday parties.. Here she is looking super cool munching on some party food. E has known Isobel since they were born, I met her mum at antenatal classes and we have stayed in touch since. The girls play so nicely together and love seeing each other. Our friends invited us to stay… View Post
What a whirlwind week it has been, a week ago today we had the twenty week scan and since then all the pregnancy announcements have been made. E turned four last Saturday, I have just been sorting through the mammoth amounts of photos that have been taken over that weekend so that I can get round to blogging about her special day. Four! I cannot believe I am now a mummy to a stubborn, active, chatterbox four-year old – where has that time gone.. Anyway, seeing as her fourth birthday blog post is taking longer than anticipated – well the photo sorting is, I thought I would share with you some photos from our sunny afternoon in the garden on Wednesday. One of the present’s E received for her birthday is a my first swingball set, also comes with a basketball attachment and swing football, I chose it thinking it… View Post
Earlier in the week whilst the sun was shining and E had no preschool we ventured to the beach for the afternoon, armed with a blanket, picnic and sun cream we were ready for a couple of hours of fun on the beach. We are very lucky to live so close to the beach, however it is very easy to take it for granted and not go down there as often as we can. I think you will agree we have had an amazing couple of weeks of sunshine, especially for April.. lets hope we get some more sunshine soon! I took a few photos when we were down there, mostly of E playing in the sand but I thought I would share them with you. Hope you all have a lovely Friday! First thing in the morning, E was very excited about heading to the beach that day. Sandcastle building… View Post
