My Name Tags Stickers Review & Giveaway

My daughter is in year two at school at the moment. In both year one and reception items went missing. Clothing items were eventually returned, however things like drinks bottles and snack pots didn’t make it home. My Name Tags have given me the opportunity to try out their Name Tag Stickers. I have only ever used the iron on name tags in the past or if I’m in a hurry its been a biro name written on the label. The stickers sounded great so I was looking forward to trying them out. The website is so easy to use. In the Text section you can write the name you would like. The design section is where you can choose a little picture to go onto the sticker, after that you select a background of your choice and then proceed to the checkout. It really is as simple as that.… View Post

Great Quality Clothes from Simply Be – Review

Recently Simply Be contacted me to see if I would like to review some of their products. I had heard of Simply Be before and knew they were a plus size retailer. Being petite I knew I would struggle to find something that would fit. However I discovered that they do a size 8 on some of the items, so I thought I would see how they fit. I also enlisted my sister-in-law to sample one of the larger items. I am not a fan of the colder months, I always want to wrap up warm. When it comes to a night out, whether for a few drinks or a meal I like to be warm, yet stylish. It turns out that Simply Be has clothes that can help with all my requirements. This outfit is perfect for a night out. I love the Fluffy Bow Back Jumper, it has gold… View Post

Project Mc2 Camryn’s Tie Die Experiment Doll Review

E is only six but has never really play’s with toys that much. She would rather be making things, experimenting and reading. All of which I like to encourage. The project Mc2 experiment dolls allows your child to play with a doll that is wearing cool clothes and also be able to take part in an experiment using house hold items. We were sent Camryn tie die experiment doll.   Each doll has a signature outfit that links in with the experiment. The Doll is a fully articulated doll (knees, hips, wrists, elbows, shoulders, neck) features hair,… View Post

A Cosy Festive Night In With Morrisons

Several years ago a festive night pre-Christmas would be very different to what it is now. It would probably have involved a pretty dress, a meal out, a drink or two and singing Christmas songs loudly on the way home! Now however, we absolutely love a cosy night in.  A good film, drinks and nibbles. Occasionally we let our six year-old stay up and have a film night with her too. We recently received a box of festive treat’s from Morrisons, for a perfect cosy night in. Morrisons pride themselves on being a one-stop shop for all things Christmas and they really do seem to have all you could need. Our cosy night in started with us all being in our pjs, the Christmas tree twinkling away and the lights dimmed. Morrison’s had sent us Beauty and The Beast so we settled down to watch it. We were sent some lovely sweet… View Post

Christmas Lunch at Bill’s Exeter – Review

It’s that time of year when friends get together and get festive, offices have Christmas parties and people enjoy eating out. Finding somewhere that everyone will enjoy is always tricky when organising a meal out. Bill’s is the perfect venue! Last weekend I visited Bill’s in Exeter to try out their new Christmas menu. And what a wonderful afternoon it was. I took along fellow blogger, Natalie from Mummy, But Still Me and we had a blast. Great company and exceptionally tasty food. It was the perfect combination.     Bill’s wasn’t somewhere I would have thought about for a Christmas meal, however let me tell you.. Bill’s have put together the most amazingly tasty Christmas menu. For the Christmas menu you are asked to email your orders in advance.  I was pleasantly surprised to see plenty of choice with several unexpected dishes alongside the Christmas classics. For instance there’s Camembert and Bacon Beef Burger on… View Post
