Rowntree’s 30% Less Sugar Sweets

I have a bit of a thing for sweets, to the point that I attempted to give them up for lent. I would say I am more of sweet than chocolate girl.  So when I was contacted and asked if I wanted to try Rowntree’s 30% less sugar Randoms and Fruit Pastilles I obviously said yes! When the sweets turned up me and my husband opened up the packs and tried them. Savouring each one we tried to figure out if they were any different. First we started off with Fruit Pastilles – now I am a huge fan of Fruit Pastilles. They are chewy, juicy and tasty so I was keen to know if they tasted any different. I was pleasantly surprised that they tasted the same, the only difference was the shape of them. Next we tried the Randoms. Quite often they sneakily appear in our shopping trolley or can be… View Post

An Outfit For Every Occasion With Love The Sales

I am a bargain hunter and quite frequently I can be heard saying “I got it in the sale”. These days I am normally browsing the sales for clothes for the children. When it comes to shopping for me I am always last. Sales shopping online is easy and stress free. I love going shopping but the sale rails rarely have the sizes I want and after a few shops the children start moaning. I can spend ages browsing all the different websites, which is really time consuming. So when I was told about Love The Sales, a website that shows all the sales that are online in one place, I couldn’t wait to have a look. Love the Sales is a referral website and has almost every brand I could think off. Looking around the website, I decided to make some wish lists – my husband frowned at this as he knows… View Post

Everdine Review – Clean Eating Meals

I love good food but I am the first to admit I am not very good at attempting to cook new meals. As a stay at home mum I am always rushing around. So by the time tea time comes around I normally end up cooking the same things weekly. All aspects of my life are constantly hectic, maybe I am not as organised as I should be. By the time I have picked up the eldest from school and made sure both children are alright, I realise I haven’t planned anything for tea. Don’t shoot me for this, but on these nights the kids will end up with the usual fish fingers, fish cake or sausages. When it comes to deciding what I am going to eat, I some times struggle. I have been known to eat  junk food for ease. After rushing round I just can’t be bothered When I was… View Post

Hape’s George Luck Artic Animals Puzzle Review

E has always loved puzzles, she will spend ages doing them. Hape’s Artic Animals  is a puzzle with a difference. It’s a wooden puzzle with two different layers, both full of vibrant colours and arctic animals. I think wooden toys are often the best kind, it is charming, classical and very well made. It would make a perfect gift for children that love doing puzzles. The puzzle displays a winter wonderland scene of sea, ice, polar bears and sea creatures. It comes in simple packaging which has a picture on the back so you can discover where the pieces should go. As the puzzle has two layers it makes it more interesting and challenging to do. The Arctic animal puzzle is made from large pieces and recognisable shapes, this beautiful two-layered wooden puzzle encourages fine motor skills, memory, hand to eye co-ordination, dexterity and shape recognition.  The bright colours and stunning… View Post
