I love good food but I am the first to admit I am not very good at attempting to cook new meals. As a stay at home mum I am always rushing around. So by the time tea time comes around I normally end up cooking the same things weekly.
All aspects of my life are constantly hectic, maybe I am not as organised as I should be. By the time I have picked up the eldest from school and made sure both children are alright, I realise I haven’t planned anything for tea. Don’t shoot me for this, but on these nights the kids will end up with the usual fish fingers, fish cake or sausages.
When it comes to deciding what I am going to eat, I some times struggle. I have been known to eat junk food for ease. After rushing round I just can’t be bothered
When I was asked if I wanted to try Everdine I had a little look to see what service they offered. Evedine is clean healthy meals that are delivered frozen to your door. You pop them into the microwave for anywhere between 8-10 minutes and you then have a guilt free tasty meal to eat.
This sounded like the perfect solution to my unorganised nights.
What makes EverDine better than shop bought meals? Well take a look at the yummy meals I have been eating recently.
Pulled Beef Ragu Spaghetti. Made with pulled beef brisket in a herby tomato sauce is accompanied by wholewheat pasta and spiralised veg. This meal was the first of the meals I tried and wow! it tastes amazing. I could have eaten it all over again.
Mediterranean Cod. This meal was really enjoyable. The cod was soft and flakey and served with lovely new potatoes, sun dried tomatoes and vegetables. I am glad I ordered two of these meals.
Duck Hoisin with leafy greens. My husband tried this one as he was late home from work one night. He said he really enjoyed it and that the duck was really succulent. He seemed to like it which is always a good sign.
Lamb Chops with Feta and Cous Cous. A lovely meal. Lamb Is my favourite meat and this meal didn’t disappoint. So many flavours and all of it is good for me.
The other meals I have yet to try are
Katsu Chicken and Beef & Beetroot Bourguignon.
These meals are anything but boring. Whilst I enjoyed all of the meals our least favourite is the mushroom carbonara, I didn’t get a photo of that meal. I think I expected it to be like a typical carbonara but had a different taste.
My favourite by far was the Pulled Beef Ragu Spaghetti. I could have eaten that over and over again. So tasty.
I served all my meals on a plate but you can easily eat them out the box they come in which would make them perfect to take to work for lunch. As they only take around ten minuets in the microwave they make a very healthy alternative to any junk food and a tasty alternative to sandwiches.
What I love about Everdine is that everything you need is included, so you don’t need to be looking for veg you have in the fridge to go with it.
I love these meals, it has meant that I have had a decent meal on hectic nights. They smell amazing too.
How does Everdine Work?
You go to the website and choose your plan. You can choose between a classic or a vegetarian plan. I chose their 8 Classic Meals option which costs £55.20 in total, so it is about £6.90 per meal. Meals are automatically selected but you can change them to which ever meals you fancy. Another good thing is you can cancel your subscription at any time if you wanted to.
If you are in a rush and don’t have time to chop, cook and wash up then Everdine is definitely for you.
If you would like to try Everdine then go to this Link and you will get an exclusive £25 off you first order.
