Men's Christmas Gift Guide

Number 1 – Espensen Flavoured Vodka and Gin Miniatures

Espensen Miniatures

Espensen Spirit make a range of wonderful Vodka and Gins in the most amazing flavours. I have tasted flavoured vodka before but these yummy flavours take some beating, the Rhubarb & Custard Vodka is amazing. Now here is the good part, they are made using fresh fruit and seriously good base alcohol from Langley Distillery, and they contain absolutely no artificial colours or flavours. The word fruit stands out to me – that makes them good for me surely? One thing is for sure is they taste great. I have never been much of a Gin drinker but found them really enjoyable to drink.

The flavours available are Gin Genie Blueberry Gin, PG Sips Pink Grapefruit & Raspberry Vodka, Pump Up The Jam Raspberry Gin and Ruby Cuby Rhubarb Custard Vodka. The bottles are available to buy in 50cl, 20cl and the miniature 5cl. The miniature collection costs £16 and is available to buy on their website. These would make a great gift for anyone, even for yourself!

KoboThe Kobo Aura One is Kobo’s new eReader and it looks great. It is the worlds first eReader with blue light reducing front-lit display, making it perfect for a bedtime story without ruining your sleep. Its water proof nature makes it durable and cosy for a bath or a day out at the beach. It is also great for travel as its battery lasts for over a month. This new device offers a 7.8”  screen size that fits more words to a page and there is an easy to use interface that offers customised book suggestions. What is also great is that the device has 8GB of storage and stores up to 6,000 eBooks – I certainly cannot fit that many books on my bookcase. I am an avid reader and love my books and with this great eReader you are able to read a good book where ever you go. Being able to use it in the bath appeals to me a lot. Taster Pack

Alcohol is always a great gift at Christmas, everyone has different preferences on what they like, Freedom Brewery have some great craft beers that any man would love to try. Treat him to a selection of award winning craft lager – choose from Organic Helles, East India Pale and King Koing to Boston Beech, Liberty Pils and Freedom Authentic. Each one of Freedom’s lagers is full of flavour, rich in character and thirst quenching. Freedom brews are a distinctive lager in the most sustainable way possible and they challenge the mainstream beers. I personally don’t drink beer so I have been making the man in my life drink them and tell me what they are like – its a hard job being made to sample such wonderful lagers. The general opinion is that they taste great and he really enjoyed the Libery Pils. You can by a taster pack of six beers for £10 from the website.
