Feeling Festive with Jet2Holidays and An Advent Competition

There is something about hampers that everyone loves. A Box or basket full of surprise goodies. I recall my grandparents having them at Christmas.  I am sure they were full of Christmas goodies that they needed for the special day. We were recently sent a hamper from Jet2Holidays. When a huge box was delivered I was like a kid in a sweet shop. I couldn’t wait to see what was inside. My little boy seemed excited too and was keen to help empty the contents out.   I was really pleased with the contents. It certainly isn’t anything like the hampers my grandparents had. So many lovely items.   There really is something for everyone. I am particularly excited about the craft items. Both my Children love making things, I am particularly  looking forward to attempting to make the Gingerbread house, we have never made one before. The foam Santa scene will be a… View Post

Pipity Activity Set Review and Giveaway

E is a really creative child and is always drawing, colouring, cutting & sticking to make colourful and crazy creations. Every time we venture out I end up with crayons and pieces of paper stuffed into my bag.  The Pipity Activity Case is perfect for her. It will be ideal for keeping her amused on long car journeys, on the train and when we go out to eat.  Pretty much anywhere. Developed over several years Kate designed the Pitpity products at her kitchen table. She was inspired to do so for many reasons. She was fed up of years of broken pencils and felt tips staining the bottom of her handbag. Also with the growing role of technology in her children’s lives, she wanted to find a fun and alternative solution. Activity Case The case comes with: Activity starter pack Glue stick Pencil sharpener Child safe scissors (which also comply with hand luggage regulation… View Post

Painting with an eleven month old

When I mention painting with an eleven month old the reactions vary from you must be crazy or an eleven month old cannot do painting. Ok, I will admit it does seem like a totally crazy thing to consider doing and it could all go very wrong! Well its a good job everyone in Mum, that’s me household are slightly crazy, in a good way of course. J and I were having an afternoon playing and doing the same old stuff we seem to do when I decided I was going to try painting with him, it was one of those spur of the moment decisions, thinking how wrong it could go but also how much fun it could be. I found some paper, paint brushes and chose some yellow paint and called J into the kitchen, he instantly tried pulling everything of the table – at this point I am… View Post

Summer Crafts with Bakers Ross

Summer – oh how I love this time of year, the flip flops and shorts are out of the wardrobe and have actually been worn quite a lot. But as we all know British Summertime has it fair share of wet days, typically at the weekend or when the children are off from School. We received another great parcel from Baker Ross recently that’s full of great Bakers Ross crafts, all of these crafts are perfect for those wet days over the summer. As usual E couldn’t wait to get started. The first craft E chose to do is the Elephant Mosaic Magnet kits. When we opened the packet there was a foam shaped elephant with squares on to show where to put the foam squares, a couple of sheets of different colour foam squares, two googly eyes and a magnet to stick to the back. I do love crafts like… View Post

Fathers Day Crafts with Baker Ross

Fathers day is on June the 19th this year which isn’t that far away.. I used to always be super organised until J came along, I think I must have left my brain in the hospital before I came home, so when it comes to special dates whether it be birthdays, wedding anniversaries and fathers day I am likely to forget until the last minuet. Recently a lovely parcel from Baker Ross turned up with a selection of crafts including Fathers Day crafts so I realised that it was coming up soon. Thank you for the reminder Baker Ross! The father’s day crafts we have been sent are Fathers Day Tie Bookmarks and Fathers Day Wooden Keyrings. E decided she wanted to make a keyring for her daddy first, she chose to make the one with the car on as it is red just like daddy’s new car! Inside the pack there was… View Post
