Children’s Christmas Gift Guide 2017

It has reached that time of year where everyone is focusing on Christmas. Christmas gift shopping can be one of the most time consuming aspect of Christmas, especially when you have no idea what to buy people. There are so many toys on the market that its always hard to know to buy. Hopefully my Children’s Christmas Gift guide will give you some great ideas.       1 -Sylvanian Family Starry Point lighthouse This wonderful lighthouse would make a brilliant addition to any fans collection this Christmas. The lighthouse is a great size and only requires a small amount of assembly. The lighthouse decor has a very whimsical seaside theme throughout. What is great about the set is that it comes with a little bit of furniture. The set however doesn’t come with any figures so it is worth buying some figures to go with the set. The sturdy lighthouse has two floors and the… View Post

Advent Calendar’s For Children

We are hurtling towards the most magical time of the year, Christmas. It’s only a few weeks away now until the countdown to Christmas begins and the advent season is well upon us. Instead I just looked and played with everything! What an amazing toy shop, it really does seem to have everything, from a section with sparkly tutus and all things princess, to Nerf guns and all the wonderful things in-between. However the one section that really stood out to me was the Lego department. When I was a little girl I used to love Lego, my brother and I would play with it for hours, it has to be said I look forward to when E is old enough to play with it. There was such a variety of Lego, the Lego friends made for girls, star trek Lego, Harry potter Lego, far too many… View Post

My weekend in London – Child free!

It is very rare that I get me time, what with my husband working away frequently and that we don’t live near any family. I am with E twenty four seven and at times it really can be hard. Because of our circumstances I very rarely get to do something I really want to do. This last weekend I went to London for the weekend to visit a friend, we joke how it is my annual trip and my annual weekend off, but it really is! I love being a mummy to E, however everyone needs a break and some me time at some point? On the Friday I caught the train from Exeter to London Waterloo, a very long three and a half hour journey – the trains to Waterloo are cheaper due to the time they take. This didn’t bother me as it was the start of relaxing time. With… View Post
