Living Arrows 3/52 (2018)

It’s another week of Living Arrows. Every Monday I will be sharing a photo that celebrates childhood. The project originally took its name from a poem – “You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth” – Kahlil Gibran   This week has been a fairly quiet week. last weekend was my 40th Birthday and since the excitement of celebrating me getting old it has been a quiet week. Pottering round the house and going to J’s playgroup. J has been waking early during the week due to our neighbours leaving for work early and due to him being a light sleeper, is waking. This has meant that some days he has fallen asleep on the sofa. J gave his naps up quite a while ago. Like anyone, when you get over tired you need a power nap. Living Arrows 2/52 (2018)

At the weekend I posted my first Living Arrows post – it is part of a link up. The idea is that I post a photo /photos from the week before celebrating Childhood. This is supposed to be done on a Monday. As you can see I am late again, next week however I will get it posted on Monday. The inspiration for this project is the following quote. Living Arrows 1/52 (2018)

When I first started blogging several years ago, I had no idea that there was a blogging community. It turns out there are some really lovely people who also blog. Some of them are amazing and I really do enjoy reading other people’s posts. To get involved with the community a little bit more and to document my children growing up and how they change, I have decided to join a blog linky called Living Arrows. For those that don’t know, a linky is a post on another persons website which features a tool that enables me to post on a particular subject, with a photo and back link to my blog. That way not only my current readers can see the post, but lots of wonderful bloggers can. I can also click on their link to read theirs.
