Pipity Activity Set Review and Giveaway

E is a really creative child and is always drawing, colouring, cutting & sticking to make colourful and crazy creations. Every time we venture out I end up with crayons and pieces of paper stuffed into my bag.  The Pipity Activity Case is perfect for her. It will be ideal for keeping her amused on long car journeys, on the train and when we go out to eat.  Pretty much anywhere. Developed over several years Kate designed the Pitpity products at her kitchen table. She was inspired to do so for many reasons. She was fed up of years of broken pencils and felt tips staining the bottom of her handbag. Also with the growing role of technology in her children’s lives, she wanted to find a fun and alternative solution. Activity Case The case comes with: Activity starter pack Glue stick Pencil sharpener Child safe scissors (which also comply with hand luggage regulation… View Post

Hape’s George Luck Artic Animals Puzzle Review

E has always loved puzzles, she will spend ages doing them. Hape’s Artic Animals  is a puzzle with a difference. It’s a wooden puzzle with two different layers, both full of vibrant colours and arctic animals. I think wooden toys are often the best kind, it is charming, classical and very well made. It would make a perfect gift for children that love doing puzzles. The puzzle displays a winter wonderland scene of sea, ice, polar bears and sea creatures. It comes in simple packaging which has a picture on the back so you can discover where the pieces should go. As the puzzle has two layers it makes it more interesting and challenging to do. The Arctic animal puzzle is made from large pieces and recognisable shapes, this beautiful two-layered wooden puzzle encourages fine motor skills, memory, hand to eye co-ordination, dexterity and shape recognition.  The bright colours and stunning… View Post

Summer Crafts with Bakers Ross

Summer – oh how I love this time of year, the flip flops and shorts are out of the wardrobe and have actually been worn quite a lot. But as we all know British Summertime has it fair share of wet days, typically at the weekend or when the children are off from School. We received another great parcel from Baker Ross recently that’s full of great Bakers Ross crafts, all of these crafts are perfect for those wet days over the summer. As usual E couldn’t wait to get started. The first craft E chose to do is the Elephant Mosaic Magnet kits. When we opened the packet there was a foam shaped elephant with squares on to show where to put the foam squares, a couple of sheets of different colour foam squares, two googly eyes and a magnet to stick to the back. I do love crafts like… View Post
