E is a really creative child and is always drawing, colouring, cutting & sticking to make colourful and crazy creations. Every time we venture out I end up with crayons and pieces of paper stuffed into my bag. The Pipity Activity Case is perfect for her. It will be ideal for keeping her amused on long car journeys, on the train and when we go out to eat. Pretty much anywhere.
Developed over several years Kate designed the Pitpity products at her kitchen table. She was inspired to do so for many reasons. She was fed up of years of broken pencils and felt tips staining the bottom of her handbag. Also with the growing role of technology in her children’s lives, she wanted to find a fun and alternative solution.
The case comes with:
- Activity starter pack
- Glue stick
- Pencil sharpener
- Child safe scissors (which also comply with hand luggage regulation for flights)
- 12 pencil crayons
The pencil sharpener, pencil, glue and scissors match the colour of the case which is a lovely touch. The case also has a carry strap which means it is easy to take with you.
We were also sent some activity books and a Pipity portfolio – perfect for storing all of E’s creations.
The activity Books
The activity starter pack comes with the case. It is a great book, has a little bit of everything to keep your child occupied. Each activity book has a variety of things in. The Dress up dolls are brilliant. E loves making them and playing with them. You can also buy a Pipity paper pad so that you child can make their own creations. The activity books are a little smaller than A5 so all the creations fit nicely into the Pipity Portfolio.
All of the pages in the activity books have perforated pages, this makes them easy to take out and use. When in use, the elastic straps which hold the activity case closed can also be used to hold your paper into place which is a perfect for using the Pipity on car journeys or on the train.
The portfolio is made from lined board. It expands to seven compartments and is easy for children to open. There is a little cord keeping it closed securely to ensure nothing falls out. The carry handle is also perfect for taking it on the go.
The portfolio is available in the same colour as the activity cases. It can easily store A5 paper and any creations in A4 can be store if folded in half. I am hoping this means no more artistic pictures and creations will be piled up on my kitchen table.
E loves her pipity case and takes it with her when ever we go out.
The Pipity Activity case is £24.99 which I do think is good for value as you not only get the contents inside, but also the bag to keep everything in.
The Portfolio is £7.50 and the activity books are £4.99. You can also buy a Pipity Gift Combo which includes the activity case and a portfolio for £29.99.
I am really impressed with all of the Pipity products. The idea and design of them is fantastic. Take a look at the Pipity website to see all of the products you can buy. I think they would make a great gift for any creative child and I already know I will be purchasing one for a Christmas present.
