Wow! I am now 21 weeks pregnant, now that most people know about the pregnancy or soon find out when they see me, the excitement is starting to set in.
This week baby is starting to swallow amniotic fluid so it is getting a taste of some of the flavours I am eating, I am still loving lasagna, doughnuts and coke and I think the baby enjoyed the taste of the ice cream I ate earlier, no sooner had I finished it the baby started making a lot of movement. .
This little wriggler moves a lot, daddy finally got to feel some of the kicks the other night which was great and E still continues to talk, sing to and cuddle the bump! She has also felt more movement this week which is exciting for her. I think she is going to be a great big sister.
The baby’s eye lashes and eyebrows are also developing this week and as the baby is fully developed it’s working on its fat stores to gain weight and grow – maybe I should eat another doughnut to assist with that….
I am wearing maternity clothes all the time now, super comfy and I also took myself shopping to buy a few more bits this last weekend. Last time when I was pregnant with E it was over the winter months so I needed some more summer based items
We have started to talk about baby names a little, we haven’t got very far but its exciting second guessing if it will be a boy or a girl and I am still glad we chose not to find out what we are having as its adding to the excitement.
