Living Arrows 4/52 (2018)

It’s another week of Living Arrows. Every Monday I will be sharing a photo that celebrates childhood.

The project originally took its name from a poem –

“You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth”

Kahlil Gibran

After Joshua’s trip to A&E we haven’t been out and about much due to him struggling with walking. However things are looking better now.

Whilst E has been at school, J and I have been doing a lot of playing. He particularly enjoys playing in his big sisters bedroom. Exploring all the wonderful toys she has hidden away. If it isn’t her Barbie dolls or Lego, he loves to empty her drawer of dressing up clothes. He has so much fun playing with the accessories and making me wear items.

He has a lot of fun playing with E’s cheerleading pom pom’s. This snap taken on my phone luckily captured him with them. He really makes me laugh.

Today E and I went out for lunch together and then had a look around the shops.

We both enjoy having some girl time together as it is very rare. E is a typical little lady, she loves looking around the shop, looking at all the goodies. She is growing up too quick.

  1. They really do grow up so quickly don’t they, it’s scary! Lovely photos of both of them. I remember how much my daughter used to enjoy getting to play with all of her big brother’s toys when she was younger, while he was safely out of the way at school! x #LivingArrows

  2. What is it with siblings loving playing in each other’s rooms?! Troy always trashes Athena’s room when she’s not there! I hope his walking is getting better x
