It’s another week of Living Arrows. Every Monday I will be sharing a photo that celebrates childhood.
The project originally took its name from a poem –
“You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth”
– Kahlil Gibran
This week we have been out and about more, illnesses, poorly legs, toothache… It’s all behind us. Well apart from the occasional sniffle.
I am getting J to walk the school pick up with me at the end of the day, needless to say he absolutely loves it. As soon as we are in the playground he just runs around, full of energy and excitement. The school has recently had some painted playground activities done. They are brilliant.
Once we have collected E from outside her classroom, J pulls her along because he wants to go and play. The school has a little outside play area with equipment for climbing on, a wooden train and a little pretend wooden shop area. It really is fab.

J drags E along and makes her sit in every single train carriage. It’s a good job she absolutely loves playing with him. I love that they are so close.. at the moment!

Its been a bit on the chilly side this week so I am hoping this coming week will be a bit warmer. And most of all, I hope we have some little adventures along the way.

I’m glad you’re all feeling better from all your illnesses! It’s the worst when the whole family is ill. Lovely photos!
