It’s another week of Living Arrows. Every Monday I will be sharing a photo that celebrates childhood.
The project originally took its name from a poem –
“You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth”
– Kahlil Gibran
This last week some form of normality has resumed. E is back at school after half term. so it is back to being Joshua and I. At the start of the week you could tell he was missing his big sister. They may sometimes annoy each other however it is evident how much they love each other. For that we are blessed.
He was definitely feeling sorry for himself and a little bit fed up. No matter what I did to entertain him, he was definitely grumpy.
Before we knew it the weekend was here again. I absolutely love family time. On Saturday it was my husbands birthday. Its funny when you have children, how you normally end up doing something that they will enjoy. Well that’s the case in this family as we don’t have anyone to baby sit.
On Saturday we went to The National Marine Aquarium in Plymouth. We all had a lovely day. The children really enjoyed it as did we. E thought it was great that she could pretend to be a mermaid! Both the children had so much fun putting their head through the holes to be different sea creatures.
After we had spent a few hours in the aquarium we had a little look at the boats and the nice view outside. The children had a run around and played with J’s new card from the aquarium which looked like Nemo. I love seeing them have so much fun together./
Its been a great week with so many lovely memories been made. Lets hope the next week has many more adventures and fun.
