Things have been a little quiet on the blog recently. I have been so busy preparing for Christmas and generally being festive.
For me the run up to Christmas is a lovely time. Spending time with the children whether it is visiting Santa, having fun with Christmas crafts or simply looking at Christmas lights. I love it all.
Unlike many people I also enjoy Christmas shopping. I love seeing the look on the children and families faces when they open their presents. Christmas is an expensive affair so I do look for bargains and start my shopping early on. However I do love a little bit of last minuet shopping with all the lovely Christmas lights on.
It has been a hard few months with my youngest being poorly, several days in hospital. Far too many antibiotics, one illness after another. Needless to say it has a part of why I am so disorganised this year. I am however looking forward to spending a few days with family. And all of the yummy food of course.
I know Christmas isn’t a happy, merry and bright Christmas for everyone. People who have lost loved ones who will be greatly missed. The really poorly people in hospital over the festive period and not forgetting all those less fortunate than ourselves. For some it is just another day and I hope everyone will spare a thought for all of the above people over the festive season.
Despite having a poorly boy a lot in the last few months, the year as a whole has been a good one. It has however flown by. I have made some new friends, met a whole bunch of lovely Devon bloggers who I now class as friends Been to some fab blog events in Devon. Spent time with family, had some great days out and made lots of memories.
As far as things with the blog go, I have worked with some amazing brands which I am always grateful off. I have had some great comments from my readers and generally enjoyed writing my blog. It’s all been great.
I am taking some time away from the blog to spend some time with my family. As I have already been doing for several days! Things will resume back to normal in the new year.
Until then I would like to wish each and every one of you a Merry Christmas and thank your for reading my blog posts and your general support.
