The obvious favourite things, well people in the world are my family and friends. Today however I am going to write about actual items I own that I love.
Several years ago a good friend of mine bought himself a new camera so I acquired his old one. From that point on I became in love with photography. Several years later I upgraded to a new DSLR. I am not a very good photographer but that is because I need to learn how to use my camera properly. Since I updated my camera I have spent far too much money on lenses, filters, flashgun and more. I would love to upgrade my camera but there is no point until I master the one I have. I love taking photos and this is why my camera is on of my favourite things.
I know a straw hat might be a strange item to have as a favourite thing. Several years ago, just as straw hats had become the in thing.. again! I really wanted one. Could I find one I liked anywhere? No. However on a trip down to Cornwall to visit family we went over to Newquay where E pointed out all the hats as she liked them. I then purchased this one, I love my hat, I love the style and the floral band and I think it suits me. I always love getting to wear it in the summer months.
My favourite colour is yellow, I think it is such a happy colour. I used to own quite a few yellow clothing items. There is a little story behind these shoes. I was shopping one day in Taunton where we used to live and I instantly liked them but wasn’t sure if I would wear them. A friend convinced me to buy them and I am glad they did despite me hardly ever wearing them. Yellow shoes don’t really go with many outfits and have hardly been worn. But they make me happy and are one of my 5 favourite things.
I know its a strange one, but I love my iPhone. All the apps, photos and things it can do make my life easier. Taking photos on the go, filming the children and sad as it might seem I love my apps. The apps I have on my phone make blogging on the go easier, social media apps, my wordpress app, photography apps. You get the idea. Oh and I better not forget the shopping apps and apps to entertain the kids occasionally
