The Lake District
The Lake District is the perfect location if you want to escape the hustle and bustle of daily life. With Rolling hills and stunning lakes is it the perfect location. Whether you want a gentle stroll to take in the views or little villages you may find around. Hawkshead it one of many small stunning villages where you will find a cosy cottage to stay.
Whether you fancy a peaceful lake side or a hike up Scaffel Pike – the highest peak in England. The Lake District is the perfect place to reconnect with nature.

London
Looking for some history, culture and an interesting place to visit? Then London is the place to visit. With well known landmarks like the Tower of London, Buckingham Palace and Westminster Abbey and many more places that are full of history.
There are a lot of different areas to visit in London. I recommend checking out Camden and Shoreditch, so many places to explore.
A staycation trip to London doesn’t have to be expensive. There are so many things you can do that are free. There are several museums and art galleys that are definitely worth a visit and i totally recommend popping into Outernet next to Tottenham Road tube station – it is a free immersive experience.
There really is something to do in London that everyone will enjoy.

Edinburgh
Edinburgh is a great city with plenty to see and do. Scotland’s historical capital is packed with sights and experiences. You can walk along the Royal Mile and take a look at the city’s mediaeval charm. Visit Edinburgh castle and explore the palace of Holyroodhouse.
If you are looking for some history the National Museum of Scotland and the Edinburgh Vaults on a ghost tour. There are many whist experiences you can indulge in. One place not to miss is Victoria street – the real like inspiration of Diagon Alley!
If you’re looking for a destination that’s rich in history and surrounded by natural beauty, Edinburgh is a city that never disappoints.

Cornwall
If you like the sound of a beach holiday then Cornwall is the perfect location. The beaches are simply stunning and there are some beautiful coves (Kyance Cove is one to see) . As well as the beaches you will find plenty of villages to explore. If you fancy a little bit of adventure then you could always consider having some surfing lessons. There really is something for everyone, all with a beautiful backdrop. Cornwall really is a lovely place to visit.

Bath
Looking for a destination with a bit of romance and history? Bath is the perfect blend of history, culture, and indulgence. Famous for its Roman baths, Georgian architecture, and stunning natural hot springs, this city feels like a step back in time. Take a walk along the Royal Crescent and the Circus, make time to explore Pulteny bridge – it is lined with little shops. Take in some history and visit Bath Abbey and the Jane Austen centre, all about the famous writers connection to Bath. The thermae spa is a wonderful experience – but you will need to book ahead to go into the spa. Definitely a great place to visit in the UK, so much to see and do.

If you’re craving something more scenic, the Scottish Highlands offer some of the most dramatic landscapes in the UK. Visit the legendary Lock Ness, home to the mythical Nessie and you can even explore the ruins of Urquhart castle on its shores.
If you are a Harry Potter than then taking the Jacobite Steam train (aka the Hogwarts Express) across the Glenfinnan Viaduct is a must.
Whether you’re into hiking, whisky-tasting, or simply taking in the beauty, the Highlands are the perfect place to lose yourself in nature.

Oxford and Cambridge
If you find yourself drawn to the history of the UK, you can’t go wrong with Oxford or Cambridge. These historic university cities offer stunning architecture, ancient libraries, and peaceful river walks. Both cities hold centuries of history , and they make for an inspiring visit, whether you’re soaking in the history or enjoying the beautiful gardens and museums. Punting is definitely something i would recommend doing when you visit the cities. Both Cities are a great place to visit.
