37 things about me

In honour of turning 37 the other day, here are 37 things you may or may not know about me…

1. I have a secret desire to get rid of everything I own (except my laptop) and go live in a tree house by the ocean.
2. I have a recurring dream that I am being chased by a tiger.
3. I’m on my laptop A. LOT.
4. I love-making lists and planning things.
5. I used to play the Cello.
6. I really don’t watch TV very much.
7. I share my birthday with Rowan Atkinson – he is funnier than me!
8. I also share my birthday with Nigella Lawson – she can cook better than me!
9. My favourite flowers are Star Gazer Lilies.
10. My favourite food is roast potatoes.
11. I love using big words.
12. When I was pregnant with E I craved cream cakes.
13. Apparently, I talk in my sleep…don’t know if I believe that though…
14. I love social media a little too much – especially twitter.
15. I love randomness…I like different…I like weird…normality scares me.
16. I love dancing.
17. I used to be a magicians assistant.
18. My biggest fear is dying without making a mark – just being another person – one of over 6 billion – being forgotten.
19. My favourite colour is yellow – its such a happy colour.
20. The smell of raw meat makes me feel sick.
21. Growing up we had a Blenheim Cavalier king Charles named Jemima – I used to feed her the food I didn’t want to eat under the table, but she didn’t like sprouts!
22. When I was around ten I loved finger knitting, I made a massive ball that went round our house and our neighbours house twice – really should have submitted it to the Guinness Book of world records.
23. I fractured my wrist when I was 13 at a roller disco – my mum thought I  had sprained it so sent me to bed in agony – thanks mum!
24. I have one older brother, he was mean to me when we were kids but I am now proud to say he is my brother.
25. My brother once tried to convince me I was adopted – I almost believed him as I look more like my aunty than my parents..
26. My first proper job was working in a coffee shop in Safeway – I left because the manager wasn’t very nice to me.
27. I have back packed round Bali twice.
28. I used to work on a cruise ship as an entertainer.
29. My favourite sound is the rain on the window at night – sends me to sleep straight away.
30. I don’t like the way I look.. glasses, frizzy hair.. you get the general idea. I am very self conscious.
31. I tend to be quite judgemental…I’m  working on not being ….
32. I have epilepsy.
33. I once had a job in McDonald’s – I left after the first morning in training.
34. My favourite musical is Cats and I have seen it 6 times.
35. I did some part time modelling to fund myself at university and loved it.
36. I have a degree in International Tourism and hospitality management.
37. My favourite hobby is entering competitions.
