Photo Friday 09/01/15

Here are a few photo’s from the last couple of weeks that I haven’t got round to sharing with you.

Before Christmas I took E to get her photo taken, which went surprisingly well as normally if you ask E to smile she gives a really big cheesy grin. We gave copies of this photo to respective grandparents and family members. The photographer gave her a flower to hold as she didn’t quite know what to do with her hands.

Inside one of the many Christmas crackers pulled over the festive period there was a little pack of cards, E took a shine to these straight away and liked to match up the numbers. Almost like a pairs game but obviously the cards weren’t identical except for the numbers and pictures. This keeps her occupied for quite a long time.

For Christmas E was given some play dough from her grandma In Cornwall. Like most three-year olds E doesn’t have the greatest attention span, until she plays with playdough. Yesterday afternoon the playdough came out, including the new pastry chef set. This comes with a cool little oven,  you can put the playdough in to various moulds, pull down the oven on top of the dough and it presses it into different shapes and makes a ping noise. E loves it and all her other playdough she has, she must have been sat there for nearly two hours playing and making pretend food.

As I have mentioned above, getting photos of E isn’t an easy task, she either pulls faces or does a cheesy grin. Here is an example of pulling a face. We didn’t manage to get once nice photo of her in her angel outfit for the nativity play – too busy pulling faces and being silly.

I haven’t taken many photos since Christmas, so I will be dusting off my camera again this week to capture all the fun in our house!
