5 Brilliant Subscription Boxes

Want to bring a little more joy into your home each month? Grab one (or more) of these subscription boxes. From Fashion to stationary to food. These subscription boxes are great.

Subscription boxes are brilliant for many reasons,  the surprise and a gift to yourself every month is exciting and secondly it is an easy way to get certain products that you want. This is brilliant, especially during lockdown.

Stitch Fix

I am absolutely in love with this subscription box. You may have heard of the company as they do advertise online. They offer a personal styling service for women and men, working to an algorithm triggered by the answers you give to a series of questions. The idea is you subscribe and have a mystery box of clothes at regular intervals. You try them on at home, pay for whatever you keep and send the rest back. There is a £10 styling fee but that amount is taken off any items you keep.

You get sent 5 items and at first look i loved most of my box. In my style questions i said that i liked to have some colour in my wardrobe and that i was looking for warmer items and that fitted looked better on me.

I was sent Mango High Rise Skinny jeans, Editors cut (their own brand) skinny rib v neck top, A denim shirt, Joules clover crew jumper and French connection Lilly Mozart Jumper. It was fun trying the clothes on, however the items i loved didn’t fit well.  I loved the high waisted jeans, unfortunately they were a bit loose at the top which was a real shame, the yellow French Connection was too bright. The Joules green jumper just looked far to big for me,  The denim shirt i just wasn’t sure about. However their own brand top was lovely and a perfect fit. I decided to keep that top, all i had to do was check out online and pay for the item i wanted and then sent the rest of the items back. Sending the items back was super easy, just attach the label and post back for free.

Will i use Stitch Fix again? absolutely! My next box is ordered. You can have boxes delivered when you want or on different occasions every couple of months. This time i have attached a Pinterest board link to give them an idea of the things i like. If you fancy trying Stitch Fix for yourself if you sign up via this link you will get £15 free. Planet Action Kit

Planet Action subscription box

The Planet Action Kit is full of thought-provoking activities to encourage environmentally-friendly learning. The kit is great to get little ones engaging and thinking differently about the world we live in.T he base to make a positive change for the planet starts with education so these kits are great to start educating your children on making small changes towards a big impact.

The letterbox kits have been developed by a teacher and ecologist team, they are a great addition to home learning or along side the national curriculum in schools. It is great to find a subscription for the children that is different and enjoyable.
The Planet Action kits have a new theme each month. The January box we received included –
A personalized letter with wax seal.
Wildflower seeds.
A wooden fridge magnet.
Twig pencil
Compost Plugs
Let’s explore change work cards.
‘Plan for change 2021 calendar’.
Also a link to a Planet Action Kit Story on YouTube to listen to with your children.

The subscription is very engaging and full of great prompts to do things to help the environment. The children sprinkled the Wild Flowers seeds in the garden so we look forward to seeing them grow. This really is a super subscription box.
