Wellbeing Teacher Gifts From Funky Pigeon – Believe In Happy

It’s that time of year again, the children will soon be finishing school. This last year seem’s to have gone so quick. Its at this time that you may be thinking about buying your child’s teacher a little gift. A way of saying thank you for everything they have done.

Gifts are not a necessity and teachers like to receive home made cards, or like it when children write a special message inside. However a lot of parents, me included, like to buy the teachers a little something. Instead of the usual ideas of chocolates or flowers, why not give them something for their wellbeing. Something that will make them smile.

Being a teacher can be stressful at times, the amount of work, targets and of course dealing with at least 30 children daily. I find two a challenge let alone 30. There are lots of lovely gifts out there that teachers will love and hopefully make them smile and feel good.

I have teamed up with Funky Pigeon to write a little guide of gifts that considers the mindfulness and wellbeing of teachers this year. There are several well-being gifts on the website and what is really great about purchasing them is that 30% of the sales profits go straight to the charity  Mind. A great way of promoting mental health awareness.

Here are a selection of items that teachers will love to receive.

A Smile Is My Favourite – Mug

Believe in Happy

I love this mug. It is part of the #behappy range. The mug is bright and colourful and the inspirational message makes me smile. Its perfect for a teacher to make time for themselves , relax and enjoy their favourite hot drink.

Believe in Happy Personalised Tote Bag

My happy bag

This gift for a teacher is perfect. Not only is it getting away from using plastic bags it also has a wonderful design. Teachers have a lot of stuff to carry around so this is great for that. Or even better during the school summer holidays they can use it when they make time for themselves and go shopping. You can personalise this bag with your child’s teacher’s name, which makes it a little bit more special.

BelieveInHappy Chocolates

Wellbeing chocolate

How fab are these chocolates, they are so unique. Not the typical chocolates some people gift. These chocolates make me smile. The chocolates are hand made white Belgian chocolate. They are also part of the Believeinhappy collection found on the Mindfulness and Wellbeing section on the funky pigeon website. I think any teacher would love these as they are really cute and will put a smile on their face.

Moving away from the items on the wellbeing section of the website onto other personalised items ,that is still in my eyes for the wellbeing and relaxation of teachers.

Personalised Wine

Personalised Wine

Some people say that teachers get far to many gifts that are chocolate, flowers or alcohol. However if i was a teacher i don’t think i would get fed up with any of them. Imagine receiving 30 bottles of wine. A glass of wine is a nice way to unwind during the school holidays. Whether its in the garden in the sunshine or on an evening relaxing. I think a bottle of wine is a great gift. However this is no ordinary wine, well the wine is a Sauvignon Blanc. The bottle label can however be personalised. I love that you can put the teachers name and also list a few things that your child loves about your teacher. A great teacher gift that will be well received.

Personalised Notebook

Wellbeing gift guide

Notebooks always come in handy. Whether it is notes, lists or lesson ideas, a personalised notebook is a great gift. I personally get stressed when i cant remember things that i had planned. i have several notebooks that i use for different things. They are definitely good my wellbeing, as i am sure it will be for teachers.

Personalised Card

Teacher card

Teachers love a thank you teacher card.  Whether it is home made or not. Funky Pigeon have a great range of teacher cards. You can personalise the front and the inside. I like the idea of leaving the inside blank so that a child can write their own personal message.

What ever little gift you choose to buy your teacher, think about how it will make them feel and if it will help them relax which is very important for everyone.
