If you want a nice happy film for all the family, with plenty of singing and sparkles then you will love this.
We loved the first Trolls the movie and this one is equally as equally good with its own little adventure.
In an adventure that will take the Trolls well beyond what they’ve known before. Poppy (Kendrick) and Branch (Timberlake) discover that they are but one of six different Troll tribes scattered over six different lands. All devoted to six different kinds of music: Funk, Country, Techno, Classical, Pop and Rock. Their world is about to get a lot bigger and a whole lot louder.
The film opens with a hypnotically cool-looking land of Trolls that’s different from the one before. A darkly pulsating Day-Glo nightclub kingdom that turns out to be the home of the Techno Trolls. Their rave is then invaded by spaceships designed like mini-dungeons. They’re a fleet led by Queen Barb (Rachel Bloom), monarch of the Hard Rock Trolls.
Barb the Queen of Hard rock wants to destroy all other types of music. If Poppy and Branch can’t unite all types of Trolls in harmony Barb will take over with her rock music.
The film also introduces us to the ever so cute Tiny Guy Diamond.
The music in the film is wonderful, it combines so much real musical talent with the likes of Mary J. Blige, Kelly Clarkson and even the world-renowned conductor and violinist Gustavo Dudamel to name but a few!
Trolls World Tour is definitely a film to watch.
