In these uncertain times buying gifts can be challenging. We have plenty of birthdays coming up and buying something nice can be tricky.
I can’t just pop out to the shops, so i have had to look at other ways to buy gifts. I am no stranger to online shopping, in fact i probably do most of my shopping online. Taking a four and eight year old shopping for presents isn’t fun, unless there is something in it for them!
When it comes to shopping for children’s gifts i tend to shop in the same places. I use Amazon the most for children’s toys, however i have found it is not always the cheapest option. Debenhams, another great shop that offers online delivery, however they have recently stopped selling toys which is frustrating. There are couple of online toy shops that i occasionally use, however i frequently find delivery quite expensive.
I recently purchased a children’s fit bit for my daughters birthday. As this was quite a big birthday gift i decided to look around and see if i could find i good deal on one. Amazon was quite pricey as was Argos and other high street shops. I was surprised to find an online catalogue was actually the cheapest.

Not many people shop with catalogue companies as they think you have to be credit checked, many offer a pay upfront option so that you don’t have to worry about credit for future payments. There are also a few no credit check catalogues which are perfect if you need to buy a gift but cant afford to pay for it straight away.
Personalised Gifts
It has to be said, i am a huge fan of personalised gifts. I think making that little extra effort it always appreciated. My daughter received a couple of personalised birthday cards this year and they are hands down her favourite.
I really like Studio online catalogue for personalised gifts. They sell so many great gifts which you can personalise. It has to be said the personalised pencil crayons are a firm favourite with me. I have two children and bickering over pencil crayons is enough to drive me crazy. Because of this both my children now have their own personalised crayons.
Online shopping has been a god send over the years, even more so lately. If like me you are looking for a perfect birthday present for a child or an adult then consider having a look around, you will be surprised that some of the catalogues are very competitive and have some great gifts.
Happy Shopping!
