E is a fussy eater, when it comes to snacks she loves to eat fruit, which is great but she also likes chocolate and biscuits. I have been thinking of other snack ideas to give her but I haven’t succeeded with much variety. So when Graze offered me a free box to review I saw this as a great opportunity to get E to try something new.
I had heard a lot about graze and I had considered trying them in the past but I didn’t really look into it. On the Graze website there are different categories to choose from, a standard graze box, a breakfast one and a fairly new addition is the Kids box. On the website they advertise it as ‘The Graze Goody Box, Tasty Treats for Kids with no nasties.’ This seemed like a perfect opportunity to get E to try some different things. When you go to order a box you get a chance to pick your treats, you can tick the ones that you would like to try.
On a Monday morning the box turned up
I was keen to look inside to see what they had sent, when I opened the box there was a 4 different snack boxes and a leaflet telling me what snacks and a list of ingredients, calories etc. The name of the snack is written on the top of the packets.
The snacks looked very yummy and when I opened it Emily straight away wanted to try one, I said later because it was lunch time.
I let her try the treasure chest snack to start with, which contains chocolate orange raisins and peach fruit strings, more raisins and cranberries. She was keen to give it a go. However we have discovered that she no longer likes raisins although she did a few months ago. The peach strings went down well. We then tried the golden oat flapjacks, they looked yummy and you get three in a pack.
Emily was willing to try the snacks but unfortunately she didn’t really like either of them, so I had to finish them off – such a hardship. The ones she has yet to try is banana shortbread and toffee sauce, I will be very surprised if she doesn’t like that and there is also a tomato bread stick’s and cheese crouton mix.
I like the concept of Graze. perfect for people who like to snack. I don’t really snack myself but I imagine the standard graze boxes would be great for people at work. I like the kids boxes but Emily is however a little too fussy to appreciate how tasty they are, but I would definitely try them again in the future.
